- 1 loaf of thick-cut, crusty white bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine room-temperature butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a bowl. Mix until well blended.
- Cut the crusty bread into thick slices.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture onto one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the bread butter side up in the toaster oven on a medium-high setting, or if you’re using a pop-up toaster, you might want to toast the bread first then spread the garlic butter on the hot toast to melt.
- Toast until the butter is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can adjust the amount of garlic to your preference. The bread can also be toasted on a grill or under a broiler if you prefer a more charred flavor.
