- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika (or your favorite seasoning)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- After draining and rinsing the chickpeas, pat them dry with a paper towel to remove as much moisture as possible.
- In a bowl, toss the dried chickpeas with olive oil, sea salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy.
- Let the chickpeas cool slightly before serving, as they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
Notes
- You can experiment with different seasonings, such as cumin, curry powder, or chili flakes, to create various flavor profiles.
- For an extra-crispy result, you can roast the chickpeas for an additional 5-10 minutes, but keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
