- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. This should take about 30-60 seconds on high, but check every 15 seconds to prevent it from overheating.
- Add the Panko breadcrumbs to the melted butter. Stir until the breadcrumbs are well-coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly across the bottom of the bowl.
- Microwave the breadcrumbs on high for 1 minute. Remove and stir.
- Repeat this process, microwaving in 1-minute increments and stirring afterward, until the breadcrumbs reach a golden brown color. This may take 3-5 minutes in total, depending on your microwave.
- Be sure to keep a close eye on the breadcrumbs, as they can burn quickly.
