- 1 cup raw peanuts (shelled and skinless)
- 1 tbsp oil (any vegetable oil will work)
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp chaat masala (optional)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanuts, oil, salt, and spices. Mix well to ensure all peanuts are evenly coated.
- Spread the peanuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally to ensure even roasting.
- Remove from the oven and allow the peanuts to cool for a few minutes. They will become crunchier as they cool.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the spices according to your taste preferences.
- For a spicier version, add more red chili powder or include a pinch of black pepper.
