- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the coated bread slices and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- In another skillet, cook the apple slices with brown sugar until they are soft and caramelized.
- Serve the French toast hot, topped with the caramelized apples.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
